1. What is this website?

This is a website that allows users to register their bikes with the Chicago Police Department.

2. How do I use this website to register my bike?

After creating an account and logging into the application, simply click the Register Bike tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to a page to enter information about your bike and where your bike was purchased.

3. Am I required to fill in all parts of the Bike Registration form?

Some fields on the form are required, these have an asterisk (*) above the form field. Fields without asterisks do not have to be filled in; however, it is recommended to put enter in as much information as possible.

4. How can I view all of my registered bikes?

First, log into the website. To view all of your registered bikes, go to the Registered Bikes tab at the top of the screen.

5. How can I edit my bike registrations?

First, log into the website.
Then, view all of your registered bikes using the Registered Bikes tab.
On this page, there is a column labeled "Actions" for each bike registration listed inside of the table.
Click the button and you will be taken to the Bike Registration details page. Inside of the details page you can select the "Edit" button, make the to the bike, then click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.

6. Where are the bikes that I registered using the old CPD Bike Registration website?

If you have registered bikes using CPD's old Bike Registration website and do not see them in your list of registered bikes on this website, please re-register your bike on this website. If you do not have an account on this website & need to re-register a bike stored on the old system, please create an account and re-register your bike on this website. If you still have questions about registrations from the old CPD Bike Registration website, please contact A CPD employee will assist you.

7. Why I haven't recieved my account confirmation token?

The token can take up to half an hour to be sent to your email account. You may also need to check your spam folder or filter.
